11:00 am O Scale Central Meeting  – Open to All.

12:30 pm 3-D printing Round Table, Sarah Griessenboeck and Friends.

Sarah will share some of her exceptional talents and discuss many of her current projects.  Some include using 3-D prints to make more highly detailed brass components than what was possible ever before.  

2:00 pm Modeling a town for a museum display, Jim Rindt, 

Jim is a professional Model builder and he will discuss the process of a Museum Display that he and other Professional Modelers help build of a Typical Northern Wisconsin Town.  He will Discuss the process of the research  the team did to model this town with no compression.  While the Display Built was in N Scale, the research and building techniques can be used on any scale.  

3:00 pm Modeling 2 Rail O Scale in Small Spaces, Eric Bacchi

Most of us do not have a large area to build a Model Railroad.  Eric will show how you can still do it in 2 Rail O Scale.  He will discuss his choice for track plan, benchwork, electronic infrastructure and scenery, along with the painful list of “must haves” and “nice to have” for equipment and scenes. His layout is a work in progress, currently 26 ft x 2 ft with a freelance midwestern switching theme.  

4:00 pm Facebook: 2-Rail O Scale & Proto:48 Model Railroading 

Meet and Greet with Ken Burney.  Annual get together for those active in the group as well as for those interested in where many people went who were once on the email list groups.  Find out what it’s all about, why 2,700 people (up 200 in the last year) are members and possibly even how to join.

11:30 am Using Microscope Slides for Window Glass, Ken Burney

How to measure, cut and attach microscope slides into your models.  A 

hands on clinic to learn the art of how to cut super thin glass without

 breaking it.
